The bottom line answer is your county sheriff.  Ultimately, he is the one who will decide what is and what is not enforced in your county.  He has the authority and oath bound duty to interpose himself on your behalf to protect you from all enemies, both foreign and domestic.  He is the people's protector.  But the county sheriffs cannot do this alone.  They need training, education, and support.  To this end, I have helped form the CSPOA or the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officer Association.  And, one of our first projects is national convention of up to 200 county sheriffs, targeted to convene in January 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada.   We can free America now, one county at a time, with the leadership of one county sheriff at a time.  In Las Vegas nearly 10% of America's county sheriffs will walk away with the constitutional training and first hand knowledge of fellow sheriffs' success stories in upholding their oaths of office.  These constitutional sheriffs will establish a Declaration reaffirming their Oaths and enumerating the federal government violations that will no longer be tolerated.

One thing Dr. Edwin Vieira wrote in one of his earlier columns about the constitutional militia always stuck in my mind:

        "The Militia, distinguishably, are independent of and superior to all political parties, factions, and special-interest groups—because the Constitution explicitly recognizes their unique position and authority (which no political party enjoys), because they encompass every able-bodied adult citizen (which no political party can claim), and because every one of their members must fulfill a personal constitutional duty to preserve “the security of a free State” (which all too many members of today’s political parties are working to subvert). And, because of all this, the Militia can become major political forces in every State as soon as they are revitalized for their proper role in “homeland security”—as the Constitution requires them to be right now, and as can be done in any State by enacting a single piece of legislation."

State legislators need to take action now even if your legislature is out of session. I've sent out more than 100 CD's of Edwin's columns to state legislators (free to download here). The silence is deafening. I know many sheriffs fully understand the role of the constitutional militia and realize how critical it is to the safety of a free state and their own counties, but it has to be the state legislatures who pass the proper statutes. As Americans become angrier and more enraged over the actions of the impostor president, lack of jobs, immigration enforcement not being a priority and on and on, we run the risk of increasing violence. It doesn't have to be that way.
